Where You’ll Find Me
4/19/14
The morning April air
welcomes with a cool breeze
Lone pines stand among the
dense bare branched forest
Olive laurel sprout from the forest floor
up from the brown wintered leaves
Branches and limbs scatter the earth
in twists and tangles
The drumming of a grouse is heard
A turkey gobbles in the hollow
Amongst this forest
back from the main roads
A creek is hidden
It riffles and gurgles as it flows
And this is where you’ll find me
Part of it all
